Neil Snyder, Father, Hero

When I read what’s below, I literally gasped “Oh my God!” aloud:

A couple of years ago, my Israeli daughter, Noam Avraham, stayed with me and my wife for a few weeks as she was transitioning from the IDF to university.  Noam is not my biological daughter.  She lived with my wife and me for several months while she was in high school, and we love her as though she was our daughter, but that’s another story.

Noam was interested in electronics, so we took her to visit MIT.  While we were there, we stopped for lunch in a student cafeteria that featured a food court with an international cuisine.  Noam wanted a falafel, so we ordered one from a Palestinian man who told us that he was from Jerusalem.  I introduced him to Noam and told him that she was about to enter college having just completed her IDF tour.  Without hesitation, he looked at Noam and said, “Have you killed any Palestinians today?”

This kind of hatred is not inborn. It is taught. Year after year, generation after generation, by adults who ought to know better – by “loving” parents who should be ashamed of themselves.

Hatred never killed hatred. Only love has. I’m no pacifist. Bomb the crap out of someone who bombs you, but the INDIVIDUAL, simply for having been BORN, is not your enemy. Seek light and you will find light. Where you find darkness, be light. Where light is pushed back, live to light another day, in another way… but this?

Heartbreaking.  And tempting… but the dad didn’t do it.  He didn’t give in to his worst impulses.  God love him.

And, parenthetically, I’ve been to the very cafeteria where this incident took place, having brought my three daughters to the M.I.T. museum there.  We’ve been there 2 or 3 times.  It’s a lovely, high-ceilinged, light-filled place.  A cafeteria, to be sure, but a nice one.  It’s ruined for me now.

Read the whole thing here, and again, I exhort anyone reading this to make The American Thinker mandatory daily reading.

*This is a good reminder that we are all Jews now… and all Catholics now… under the Boy-Tyrant Obama.  Stand with your friends of faith, no matter their faith, because it has an enemy in the White House, and if you don’t see that, or your friends don’t see that, you are engaging in a willful act of blindness – STOP IT or risk losing the last best hope on earth.

Why is Obama Warning Iran Against Israel?

I ask you:  WHO stands to benefit from making that public?

Israel? …NO…

Don’t Doubt it for a Second

You’re fed up with him, but I have to deal with him every day!’

~ Barack Obama to French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the G20, about Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, caught by a microphone that should not have been on.

Have to‘?  ’Have to deal‘?  Sarkozy called Netanyahu a liar.  That’s what Obama was responding to.  The President clearly agreed, as he not only did not lift a finger to defend our strongest ally in the Middle East, he pig-piled on Sarkozy’s remark.

Wow.  It’s a good thing he didn’t hear anti-semitism spewed every Sund…

Okay.  It’s a good thing one of this best friends

Never mind.  It’s over, flat-earthers.  You can’t doubt for a second Obama’s disgust and contempt for Israel.

Will Obama Kill his Flotilla Friends… TO IGNITE UNREST?

Jul 04 2011 Published by under salt

See this headline? (It’s from Infowars… but just go with me because the central point is verifiable, actual NEWS)

Washington Okays Attack on Unarmed U.S. Ship

What if Obama decided to heed Kill or be Killed and KILLED his FRIENDS as necessary collateral to get THEIR friends to riot and rip the sh*t out of our country & its social fabric, thus bringing to a head his grand vision for utopia through chaos?

Beck was right that he’s in very, very, very, VERY dangerous company. That contrary to their own bullsh*t propaganda it’s not a bunch of graying Tea Partiers he has to fear, it’s his own RADICAL FRIENDS with their gray ponytails, tenure, and all their 20-something dupes with copies of The Coming Insurrection in their clenched fists.

It’s not news to anyone with a pulse that Obama has P*SSED OFF EVERYONE, friend and foe alike… And I believe he’s exactly the right kind of broken inside to view a few corpses as an unfortunate but necessary speed-bump to get to the social justice promised land…

Is that a THREAT Mr. President? And…

May 22 2011 Published by under salt

…Is that an admission that there IS a march to isolate Israel of which you are aware… and COMPLICIT?

Did you go off-prompter Bam-Bam????

The march to isolate Israel internationally, and the impulse of the Palestinians to abandon negotiations, will continue to gain momentum… ~ Obama at AIPAC today.

“Palin is ‘Dumb’” …Really?

May 21 2011 Published by under salt

I am voting for Herman Cain, all the way, even if Palin jumps in, so this is NOT a Palin endorsement, but she is NO DUMMY.

Palin wouldn’t have:

1. Said ‘corpse-man’ as COMMANDER IN CHIEF not 1x, not 2x, but THREE TIMES in 90 seconds READING OFF A TELEPROMPTER.

2. Any A**HOLE could spend A TRILLION DOLLARS and create jobs… EXCEPT OBAMA. BLS data shows precisely the OPPOSITE of what Bam-Bam touts. He says we ‘gained’ 2.7 million jobs. We LOST 2.65 million jobs from Jan ’09 – Jan ’11.

3. Palin wouldn’t have led both houses of congress HALF WAY into the NEXT FISCAL YEAR without a budget then BLAME IT ON THE OTHER GUYS.

4. Palin would NOT have us in Libya then tell Congress to f*ck-off when LEGALLY BOUND within 60 days to get their permission. And he’s a lawyer!

5. And speaking of telling our friends to f*ck off… ISRAEL. Palin understands the maxim ‘If Palestine laid down its weapons, there’d be no war. If Israel laid down its weapons there’d be no Israel.’

6. Palin wouldn’t have shut off WATER over a bait fish; which is bad enough, but Bam-Bam also stopped the flow of MONEY to the Central Valley of CA which struck me as over-the-top despotic. It was the FIRST TIME federal water had been shut off COMPLETELY, and he piles on by taking away money, too! America gets HALF of ALL its fruits, nuts, and vegetables from there. The lack of water killed vines it took A HUNDRED YEARS to cultivate, putting 45% of America’s farmers in FOOD-LINES in RICHEST FARMLAND IN AMERICA. There are LITERALLY tumbleweeds blowing though there… between the SOLAR FARMS being erected on the 250,000 acres of now fallow, once fertile, farmland. Solar farms, installed by Bam-Bam & Pelosi’s eco-terrorist friends…

7. Palin wouldn’t shut down oil and refinery activity in Texas over a lizard.

8. Palin wouldn’t have shut down ALL DRILLING IN GULF OF MEXICO. Even in SHALLOW WATERS. The problem with the Deepwater Horizon was the eco-terrorists wouldn’t let us drill SAFELY in SHALLOW WATER where we don’t need go*damned ROBOTS to kill a leak.

That’s just off the top of my head.

L.A. Times, RELEASE the VIDEO!!!!

May 21 2011 Published by under salt

The American Thinker reminds us of a critical piece of the Obama/Palestinian puzzle the L.A. Times is keeping from public view:

In April 2008… the Los Angeles Times…(published an) article titled ‘Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Obama.’ The article pulled some of its information from a video shot at a 2003 farewell dinner for Rashid Khalidi, a Palestinian booster and a de facto spokesman for the PLO… Domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn reportedly attended the dinner as well… At the dinner, Obama thanked Khalidi and his wife for the many meals they had shared (at) Khalidi(‘s home) and for reminding Obama of ‘my own blind spots and my own biases.’ Obama hoped that ‘we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table [...] [but around] this entire world.’ …The Times, which endorsed Obama for president, steadfastly refused to share the videotape despite the demand by the McCain camp and others to release it.

Protection for Israel

May 19 2011 Published by under salt

It’s hard to know what to say. I’m sorry. I’m thunderstruck. Sad. Fearful. I don’t believe in any one ‘brand’ of God, so I am reluctant to endorse that we pray for divine providence, but what else is there to do? Those poor, isolated people. They are surrounded on all sides by people who have been imbued since birth with hatred for them. Nations full of people who want to kill them. People who will try to kill them.

I’m so very sorry, Israel. May all the powers of heaven and earth which reside in the light of goodness embrace you and keep you safe.

(Sing it with me) “I Love NY”(T)

May 19 2011 Published by under salt

arab prime time NYT

The only reason The New York Times published this comment is that it could be read to be pro ‘Arab Spring.’ (Picture Julie Andrews in a burka running through the hills singing ‘The hills are alive, with the sound of stonings. With stones they have thrown- at women -for a thousand years.’)

My continuing experiment on walking the line between truthfulness & ambiguity in comment submission continues. They never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever publish even the most polite, delicate, perfectly spelled, proper, apologetic disagreement with them or the president. They especially don’t like it when I include links to previous newspaper articles in their own paper proving they’re full of bullcr*p.

As far as the topic of Obama’s ‘big speech’ on Middle-East policy is concerned, the Times reports that Obama may ‘surprise’ us with a call to abandon Israel! Yeah! He might actually call for their 1967 U.N. charter/borders to be redrawn…

…Cuz it’s not tense enough over there already and Bam-Bam had an unstruck match.
