How Do They Write This Stuff Without Bursting into 🔥 Flames?

I swear The New York Times is here just to yank our collective conservative chains. They write stuff that is demonstrably untrue. All the time. I read them every day because I want to see what they’re up to and every day they just flat out lie. Or they write things like the below paragraph which betray an absolutely watertight lack of self-awareness. Gee, ya think? Ya think federal investigations are harmful to those they target? You don’t say. (The NYT Editorial Board piece is a lament on the FBI raid on John Bolton and other investigations into crooked politicians which are ongoing.)

They write that like the last decade didn’t happen. Like Trump wasn’t the target of a dozen+ investigations both federal and state over the last ten years. He and everyone who knew him, worked for him, or supported him in any kind of marquee way, has had their door knocked on or knocked down by federal agents. The path of smoldering ruin they’ve left in their wake is hundreds of people long. Spare me your angst over financial and reputational damage, NYT. Really. Spare me.

Oh, I can rebut that. Actually, this person on X can better than I ever could.

The cut-off part of the post reads: Schiff, James, and Cook it comes down to whether they claimed multiple primary residences, which is an entirely objective matter. [Emphasis added]

Exactly. It’s an entirely objective matter whether or not you lied on your mortgage documents about your primary residence. It either is or it isn’t. That’s it. So for The Times to write that Trump is without evidence… I mean… Come on.

You can read the whole piece here, but I warn you, your head may explode.
