No, literally: MOONSTONES. I’m not being poetic. I mean literal moonstones, as in the semi-precious gem kind. Only these are EXTRAORDINARY. I don’t even remember how I came across this jewelry designer, but somewhere along the way I discovered Temple St. Clair. She designs the most exquisite modern jewelry from fine materials (18k gold, etc.) and I’ve never seen anything quite like it. She must have one hell of a supplier because I have never, in all my life of admiring (but not buying!) fine jewelry, I’ve never seen moonstones so clear, blue, unflawed. They’re extraordinary and just so beautiful to look at I had to share. Here is the link to all her moonstone jewelry. She makes lots of other stuff too, but I think I read it’s her moonstone quality and design that made her famous.
No doubt I’m attracted to them because I’m a moon child, a July baby, Cancer. Also because my husband has the most stunning pale blue eyes, so clearly it’s a thing with me 😉
I Googled “moonstone properties” and came across this. Not vouching for the site; I merely found it interesting. So here you go, if you’d like to read more about them.
