From a post on X about what lefties have been up to recently:
In the past two weeks:
– Children were killed while praying in church. You mocked them.
– They spent a long weekend hoping Trump was dead.
– They ignored and deflected over Iryna’s brutal murder.
– Literal demons can’t contain their glee over Charlie’s assassination.
As the same X Poster said in a follow-up post, “Two weeks of evil. We are done.”:
No wonder I’m in a mood. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. But Charlie Kirk’s assassination has hit me particularly hard, and I see on X that I’m not the only one.
I can’t stop thinking about his poor widow. Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika, is, presumably, his age or near to it, 31. That’s much too young to be a widow. And they have two very young children, a little boy who just turned one in May and a little three year old girl. Those poor kids, one day, will no doubt see the awful, graphic video of their father’s assassination and that haunts me too. Everything about this is just flat awful.
It’s affected our oldest daughter Leigh (nearly 29) quite a bit too, as it was Charlie’s videos which helped her break away from the misery she was feeling with her leftist circle of friends. He helped her know there were people out there who felt like she did. He gave her the “permission structure” as it were, to go. He provided her with a safe landing to jump, and she did. She’s very shaken by it; has told me she won’t go to the playground with the kids now unless Jacob is there carrying, and that she will now try to get her own conceal carry, which I fully support.
This really does feel like a watershed event. As Leigh said “it feels big,” and it does.
I hope it’s big in a good way.
